Zhu Jing

   When she was 10 years old, Miss Zhu,Jing began her studies of acrobatics and dance much like any other little girl. Because of her innate ability she was invited to perform with the Shanghai Children's Dance Troupe. It was at one of these performances that Zhu, Jing came to the attention of Mr. Zhao, Lizhi, director of the Shanghai Magic Troupe and New Shanghai Circus. He asked her to join his company because of her skill in dance and acrobatics and also because of her wonderful use of body language and facial expression to interpret the music.

After joining the troupe Zhu,Jing became the apprentice of Master Acrobat, Yu, Wen tong, to learn the extremely difficult act, barrel contortion. Although she is a featured performer in several other acts, Miss Zhu, Jing's main act is Barrel Contortion. Imagine folding yourself double while going through a barrel, which is 12 inches in diameter and 36 inches tall. Zhu, Jing does just that!

She calls Branson, Missouri her home-away-from-home where she performs in the show known as the Incredible! Acrobats of China. In her free time Miss Zhu likes to shop, listen to music and watch videos. She also enjoys studying English.
