Zhang Bihuan

   As a small child Zhang, Bihuan enjoyed watching gymnastics and playing soccer so much that when he was 10 years old he began to study in a Shanghai Athletic Academy. Two years later his athletic prowess earned him an offer to become a part of the Shanghai Magic Troupe Academy of acrobatics. After mastering the basic skills of acrobatics Mr. Zhang was chosen to become a jar juggler. Jar Juggling is one of the oldest and most well known forms of Chinese skill. For the past 10 years he has trained 6 hours a day earn the title Master Acrobat - Jar Juggler. He has gone through many porcelain jars in this quest for perfection. He is now the only member of the troupe to successfully perform this unique traditional Chinese physical art. Although Zhang, Bihuan has traveled extensively abroad with the New Shanghai Circus, he considers Branson, Missouri a perfect second home because he can pursue one of his favorite pastimes here, fishing. When he isn't practicing, performing or fishing, Mr. Zhang can be found on his computer or English learning. He plans to continue with acrobatics and will eventually become a coach. He looks forward to passing his unique skill on to the next generation of acrobats.
