The New Shanghai Circus first arrived in Branson in 1998 to a warm and friendly Ozark welcome. In our last 5 years in Branson the warm support and aid given to us by the community have given us infinite power and confidence. For us, this is more than just a mere entertainment show; it is a culture exchange between two nations; and our audience means more to us than just an audience, they are our VIP guests. Every year, the hospitable acrobats invite several guests to their homeland to enjoy a 10 day free tour across China. We have already hosted more than 15 American guests in China, allowing them to experience our ancient culture for themselves. It has been our honor to share our country with them and by doing so, to broaden the opportunity for peace and understanding between our two countries..

  The year 2001 is the first year for us to hold the VIP China Tour for our American guests. The American friends were so excited after visiting Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, and Hangzhou. They were really impressed by the exotic culture, beautiful scenery, and delicious cuisines in China. They are: Denise Greeno、 Joy Penrod、 Angie Greeno from Ozarks Kirkwood Tour& Travel, James & Karri Burroughs from American Tee Shirt Shop, Gayle Kirchner from Concept Marketing and Anna Koelling, the marketing manager with the Acrobats of China.

  In the spring of 2002, Mayor of Branson, his wife and other two couples were invited to China as that year's special guests. They traveled across China, visiting Shanghai, Suzhou, Wuxi and Beijing etc. They told us this tour enriched their memory and life, and they all really really loved China. Let's recall their names: Mayor of Branson--Lou Shaffer and his wife--Arlene Shaffer, Rashmin & Hema Paleja from A Premier Travel, Gayle & Skip Kirchner from Concept Marketing and Jaco & Tracy Banks.

    In the third year of VIP China Tour, we made new friends with Lee & Carol Larsheid from Ozark Ticket & Travel, Diane & Gary Fisher from Branson Ticket & Travel; and it was Gayle Kirchner, our marketing representative in Branson, who toured them all the way to China. They spent 10 days around China and were deeply impressed by exquisite crafts, warm local people and 2500 year history of China.
